No License = No Driving, Glendale, CA
Tuesday, April 14, 2020On April 11, 2020, at approximately 10:20pm, an officer observed a van speed through a solid red light at the intersection of Brand Blvd. and Colorado Ave.
The officer conducted an enforcement stop on the driver and discovered that the driver had never been issued a California Driver’s License.
23-year-old Hubert Medrano of Compton was subsequently arrested for driving without a license.
The same day, another officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed northbound on Verdugo Blvd.
The officer conducted an enforcement stop on the driver, identified as 25-year-old Gevorg Gezukarayan of Glendale, and discovered that his driver’s license had been suspended.
Due to the fact that Gezukarayan’s license was suspended, his vehicle was impounded and he was subsequently arrested for driving with a suspended license.
The Glendale Police Department encourages people to remain home to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. LA County guidelines prohibit social gatherings and require social distancing when engaged in essential activities. Engaging in non-essential activities exposes households to unnecessary risks of spreading infection.
