Glendale Taco Bell employee stole customers' credit cards, then used them at Walmart, police say
Friday, August 30, 2019An employee at the Taco Bell in Glendale allegedly used customers' credit cards to ring up nearly $3,000 in purchases at Walmart.
According to Glendale police reports, the employee kept the credit cards of four customers who visited the Taco Bell drive-thru between July 25 and July 30. The customers drove away from the drive-thru window without realizing they had left their cards behind, according to the reports.
One card was used to ring up transactions for $729, $318 and $410. A second card was used for $621 in purchases. A third card was used to ring up transactions for $620 and $215. The fourth card, stolen July 30, was not used, according to the reports.
The 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for identity theft and financial transaction card crime.
