Marriage is one of the most serious steps in everyone’s life. Armenians have always been very responsible about it.

There is an opinion that Armenians are very strict about intercultural marriages which is true. But times change, we live in the 21^st century and everyone has a free will to do anything they want and to marry anyone they want. Cases of Armenians not marrying another Armenian increase year by year.

Should this be considered a danger to our nation? A danger to our blood? Yes it is. If the number of intercultural marriages keeps increasing, years later there will be very few pure Armenians.

Of course everyone is free to do whatever they prefer, no one is questioning love. And love doesn’t recognize age, race, nation, etc.

But if there is a possibility, then we should try to preserve the structure of our pure Armenian families, raise our children in that way and pass it on through generations. The image of Armenian family is famous all over the world for its strength and stability. Let’s try to keep it that way.
