The opening ceremony of the Armenian Cultural Days event recently took place in the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area section of the Great Wall of China in Beijing.
The ceremony was organized by the Armenian-Chinese Partnership Center and the Mutianyu Great Wall Tourism Company, with support from the Armenian embassy in China.
Armenian culture, arts, tourism attractions and goods were presented on the territory of the Great Wall of China for the first time.
Officials, artists, the news media and tourists attended the ceremony.
The Armenian Cultural Days events in China will be held for one year in various locations.
Armenia’s consul to China Misak Balayan also attended the opening ceremony.
