LOS ANGELES—Anna Hakobyan, the spouse of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, on Monday met with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti at City Hall, where she had an opportunity to become acquainted with some of the projects in city of Los Angeles, as well as acknowledge the role the city has played as home to the largest Armenian community in the United States.
Reportedly, efforts to further Los Angeles-Yerevan Sister City cooperation were also discussed.
Joining Garcetti at the meeting were L.A.’s First Deputy Mayor of International Affairs, Nina Hachigian and Los Angeles City Councilmember Paul Krekorian. Hakobyan was joined by Armenia’s Consul General to Los Angeles, Dr. Armen Baibourtian and Vahagn Melikian, the Secretary General of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry.
