As part of a working visit to Arizona, Narek Mkrtchyan, Ambassador of Armenia to the United States, attended a reception hosted by Abraham Hamadeh, the Embassy of Armenia in the United States said in a statement.

On the sidelines of the event, Ambassador Mkrtchyan held discussions with leading business figures and representatives of political and cultural circles of the state, as well as with Ric Grenell, Special Envoy of the US President and President of the Trump–Kennedy Center.

The reception was also attended by the ambassadors of Qatar, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, and Hungary, along with members of the diplomatic corps of the Czech Republic and Vietnam.

During the visit, Ambassador Mkrtchyan met with Tony Rivero, a member of the Arizona House of Representatives and Chair of the Arizona House International Trade Committee. The parties discussed opportunities for developing economic cooperation between Armenia and the state of Arizona.
