On March 6 Ambassador Lilit Makunts attended a diplomatic reception hosted by Ambassador Richard Grenell, Special Presidential Envoy for Special Missions of the United States and President of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC.

According to the Embassy of Armenia to the United States, during the event, among other engagements with the representatives of the U.S. administration, Ambassador Makunts had a conversation with Usha Vance, the Second Lady of the United States.

The event brought together heads of diplomatic missions, cultural advocates, and representatives of the U.S. administration, emphasizing the important role of the arts and cultural diplomacy in fostering international partnerships.
