YES - you will be operating a licensed and insured vehicle!

YES - you will earn as much money as you are able to earn (taxi cab is leased from the cab owner, and all you pay is a set rate lease fee). Be your own boss!

Insurance Requirements:

Maximum of 1 at-fault accident within the past year.
General Requirements:
Age: 25 and above
Record: Must have at least 2 years of driving experience in US without major violations.
Must have US driver license at least 24 months prior to applying

You must bring K-4 report provided by DMV.

If you meet the above criteria, you are eligible to apply for a taxi driver's permit within the city of Los Angeles. You will also need proof of eligibility to work in the United States. The application process will include a criminal background check and a substance abuse program enrollment.

2. Drug & Alcohol Test ($75),

3. Department of Transportation Permit Fee ($108),

4. Finger Print ($100)
