Job Description:

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail center, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and employees. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while working with a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Job Requirements:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Assist with access control, directions, lost-property inquiries, and other visitor support needs while maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.
Help support a welcoming retail environment by observing site rules, reporting policy violations, and communicating professionally with shoppers, tenants, and site management.
