Job Description: | EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES• Assist in resolving difficult radio engineering problems in connection with the work involved in the planning, design and construction of the County Public Safety Enterprise Communications (PSEC) 800 MHz Radio System; act as project manager on assigned projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, electronics, or a closely related field. (Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.) License/Certificate: Possession of a valid California Driver's License. Highly Desired Possession of a valid FCC General Radiotelephone License issued by the Federal Communications Commission. NABER Certificate (business and education radio) or APCO Certificate (public safety radio) is highly desired. |
