Job Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help grow our dumpster rental division by generating new leads and maintaining client partnerships across active job sites and construction offices.

CalStar Services is a leading provider of roll-off dumpster rentals and waste hauling solutions serving construction projects throughout Southern California. We pride ourselves on fast service, reliability, and strong long-term contractor relationships.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in waste management or construction service sales, who enjoys being out in the field, meeting contractors face-to-face, and closing business.

You will be responsible for driving new account growth while continuing relationships with existing customers.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

Visit construction job sites, general contractor offices, and project locations daily

Generate new leads and secure dumpster rental accounts

Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, builders, and site supervisors

Follow up on quotes, proposals, and ongoing service needs

Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and activity reporting

Work closely with dispatch and operations to ensure excellent customer service

Represent CalStar Services professionally in the field

Qualifications

Must speak fluent English

2+ years of outside sales experience (waste management or construction industry preferred)

Knowledge of roll-off dumpster rentals and job site operations is a major plus

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Sales tracking experience preferred
