Job Summary
The front desk receptionist at a music school serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. This role supports daily operations by managing communications, coordinating schedules, and assisting both staff and clients to keep the school running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about classes, scheduling, and programs
Schedule lessons and maintain accurate, up-to-date calendars
Assist teachers with organizing and adjusting their schedules
Monitor daily appointments to ensure lessons run on time
Enroll new students and provide information about programs and policies
Collect payments and maintain accurate records
Keep the front desk and common areas clean and organized
Open and close the facility according to daily procedures

Hours of operation

Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 2:00pm-8:00pm
Sat, Sun 9:00am-4:00pm

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Excellent computer literacy with the ability to handle data entry and manage multiple software platforms efficiently
Strong phone etiquette skills
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
Previous experience in customer service or as a receptionist is a plus
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
