Performing project management functions for CIP, FE, and FR projects, including developing schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements; assembling and leading project teams; and planning, directing, and coordinating project activities to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
Preparing scopes of work and preparing requests for proposals.
Communicating effectively with team and stakeholders.
Reviewing quality and quantity of work.
Managing the procurements and work products of outside consultants.
Managing cost variances and developing recovery plans.
Preparing and presenting reports and other necessary correspondence on assigned projects.
Keeping Engineering Manager informed of project issues.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, with major coursework in engineering or a related field.
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible professional engineering work experience, which may include two (2) years of lead or supervisory experience.

Licenses and/or Certifications:

Valid California Class C Driver's License.
Valid professional engineering (P.E.) registration from the State of California.
