DON For Hospice Needed - Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of hospice care. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing nursing services, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and promoting quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
Direct and supervise all nursing services and clinical operations.
Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, state, and federal regulations.
Oversee RN, LVN, HHA, and interdisciplinary team performance.
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities.
Conduct staff orientation, education, and competency evaluations.
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and community partners.
Review RN and LVN notes by the end of each month for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Participate in on-call and leadership meetings as needed.
