We are growing our team and looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join us. Position Overview Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Compounding Pharmacy Technician is responsible for preparing a wide range of non-sterile compounded formulations in accordance with USP standards and all applicable California pharmacy regulations.
Responsibilities ● Compound various dosage forms including capsules, creams, troches, suppositories, suspensions, and lollipops
● Operate compounding-specific equipment accurately and efficiently, including analytical balances, ointment mills, pH meters, and more
● Fill and label prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
● Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory
● Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding environment
● Participate actively in ongoing quality assurance processes and meetings
● Communicate openly and professionally with pharmacy staff and supervising pharmacists
● Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality |
| Job Requirements: |
● Current, valid California Pharmacy Technician license
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical compounding experience (on-the-job training also available for strong candidates)
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
● Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
● Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member
● Genuine interest in compounding and patient-centered pharmacy care
Preferred Qualifications ● Experience with non-sterile USP compounding protocols
● Familiarity with compounding software and pharmacy management systems
