We are looking to hire a cashier for well known grocery store in Pasadena, CA. Beside the Cashiering job function, cashier answers phone calls, receives items from some vendors and checks on the quantity of the items being delivered. During down times, the cashier must help the manager and owner with other functions such as making sure all the shelves are stocked with products, check on the expiration dates, check on inventory if needed and keep the store clean.

We are looking to hire couple cashiers to be able to cover all the hours. We are open M-Sat 8 AM to 8 PM and Sundays 9 AM to 6 PM.

Preferred coverage for 1st shift is 8 AM (Open) to finish at around and between 2 and 4 PM Monday to Saturday and working Alternating Sundays all day 9 AM to 6 PM.

Preferred coverage for 2nd Shift start is between 2 and 4 PM to 8 PM (Close) Monday to Saturday and Alternating Sundays all day 9 AM to 6 PM.

Must be flexible and available to switch shifts with others if needed to be able to provide full coverage for the operation.
