Position Overview
The Account Representative & Capacity Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and overseeing transportation solutions from origin to destination. This role requires a strong sales mindset combined with operational execution and carrier capacity management.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities
• Prospect and secure new freight opportunities while identifying strategies to penetrate new markets
• Develop and manage customized marketing solutions for clients
• Prepare and deliver client-focused proposals
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of accounts
• Manage transportation needs and ensure successful execution of shipments
• Negotiate competitive freight rates with shippers and carriers
• Coordinate and track transportation requirements to ensure on-time performance
• Collaborate with internal team members to enhance processes and service delivery
• Maintain high daily call activity to support account growth and service excellence

Qualifications
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the transportation or freight brokerage industry
• Proven customer service and/or account management background within logistics
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable managing high volumes of inbound and outbound calls and emails
