COMFORT HAVEN INC. RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly)

 An RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly) provides non-medical care in a homelike setting for elderly individuals who may need assistance with daily living activities but do not require the level of care offered in a nursing home. RCFEs are designed to support seniors who are generally ambulatory (able to walk) but may have some mobility limitations or need help with activities like bathing, dressing, eating, and medication management. Private or shared rooms.    

•    Private $4500 monthly.    

•    Shared $3500 monthly.  

1.    Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting.     

2.    Medication Management: Ensuring residents take their medications as prescribed.     

3.    Meals and Nutrition: Providing balanced meals and snacks.     

4.    Personal Care: Including incontinence care, mobility assistance, and other personal hygiene tasks.     

5.    Social Activities: Organized activities to promote mental stimulation and social engagement.     

6.    Transportation: Often offering transport to appointments, shopping, or other social activities.     

7.    Supervision: Continuous supervision for safety, especially for non-ambulatory residents or those with cognitive impairments.   

8.    Support for Specialized Needs: Some RCFEs may cater to residents with specific needs, such as dementia care.
